Our PhotogallerieInside this photo gallery you will find some original postcards from JR459. Some are private purchased postcards and others came from the regimental history book. Unfortunately JR459 was only in existance from 1917-1918. So there is not goobs and gobs of photographic evidence of them floating about! I wish there were more... This gallery has pictures from past living history programs, battle reenactments and social gatherings that JR459 does throughout the year. One of my pet peeves are when other reenactment groups allow old pictures to sit on their web site and get stagnant. I will try to delete them and add new files - as time permits! So it's best to check them out from time to time! Original Postcards of Imperial Germans Another picture gallery filled with examples of original postcards. In JR459 we have a few guys that collect period postcards. Here are a few examples of the Stiebritz collection. If there is something printed on the backside, just click on "Postcard Back" to view it. So now you're saying to yourself,"Ok...ok....thses guys are typical bug eatin', twig chewin', stitch counting nat-zi's, basically all the time serious hardcore jerks...", well...maybe not SO serious... these photos are "just for fun"...enjoy yourself! When we are not in the trenches This is a funny incident with our friend Opa and he is the life and center of our unit. a lot of funny things happen when he is around. This is actually one of these crazy moments life Opa.
