October 2, 1980 - August 6, 2006
On August 6th, 2006 the Great War re-enactment community lost a very good friend Justin "Hoové" Hoover.
Hoové was and always will be a long - time friend and member of 151ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne and our own unit 8 Kompagnie, Infanterie - Regiment Nr. 459.

In my humble opinion, for many years to come there will countless stories of his legendary deeds in just the Great War time period. As well as the many other time periods that he participated in.
On November 4, 2006, members of 8Kompagnie, Infanterie Regiment Nr. 459 placed Hoové remains around the Great War Associations "Caesar Krauss" momument during our own private ceremony. We offered him a class of wine and each of us took a few minutes of silence for our fallen friend and member.
