I. STAHLHELM (Steel Helmet)

Size 64 M16 Stahlhelm.

1. M-16, M 17 or M-18 pattern are authorized.

2. Both ventilation bolts must be present.

3. The Liner pins present and visible from the helmet exterior.

4. Helmets must have a functional chin-strap. Chin-straps can be constructed of either leather or of an ersatz material.

5. Helmets will be painted in an olive non-gloss finish.

6. *Please Note: Camo Helmets can only be used at the GWA fall event.

7. *Please Note: If you are using a Camo Helmet you may use it with a helmet cover or a burlap cover.


II. HELMET LINER


M16 Stahlhelm.


M16 Stahlhelm Liner.


M17 Stahlhelm with metal band.


M17 Stahlhelm Liner.

1. M-16, M-17, or the M-18 helmet liner patterns are authorized.

2. M-16 helmet liner must be made of leather.

3. M-17 and M-18 must have metal liner.

4. Helmet pads can either be filled with horse-hair or gauze.


III. CHIN - STRAP

1. Leather with metal buckle and chin-strap lugs.

2. Made of either Steel or brass.


IV. HELMET LINER PINS


Helmet liner pins.

1. Helmet liner pins are made of either steel or zinc (original).

2. Three (3) are needed to hold Liner in place.

3. The liner pins must be painted Feldgrau (olive non-gloss finish).
