The GWA Map

Okay your heading to the site for the first time and need directions. You can try looking up Newville, PA on mapquest or follow these simple directions.

Directions to Neuville, France

Take I-81 North to Hagerstown, take the exit for Newville, at the bottom of the ramp turn right (Rt-233) - you will see a drive-in theater on the right-hand side and come to a blinking light cross (Rt-11) over into the town of Newville.

In Newville you will come to the only stoplight you will have to deal with. There will be a pizza place across street called Pino's. Go thru the light and you will cross over a bridge and you will come to an intersection. You will see Deihls Convenience store (last stop of civilization you will see - the cheese on the counter is really great stuff).

Turn left onto Center Road and you will come to a fork in the road; take the left fork (it's the narrow one) You will go up and over a hill and pass a junkyard on the right-hand side. Keep following this road till you come to another fork in the road (there will be a diary farm on the right-hand side).

Turn right and go over a narrow bridge. You will be crossing over I-76 turnpike. Follow the road up and over some foothills pass what looks like North Carolina (trailer Park with satellite dishes). Eventually you will see the yellow gates on the left-hand side. That's the entrance to the GWA. By the way if you come to the Upper Mifflin School you went to far.

When entering the site. Follow the dirt road to the right and it will take you to the Market de Flea and the registration tent. Get there early on Friday to get best deals in the flea market and fill your share of sandbags - Have a safe trip!

Johannes Gralla since you used the lame excuse that you had no idea where the GWA site was. Here are the directions to take you from YOUR house to the site. If you still are not sure you can get a free Virginia Map at any Virginia Rest Stop or go to Map Quest and look up Newville, PA.

Take I-264 west to I-64 west to the Hampton Roads Tunnel. Go thru the tunnel and continue following I-64 west to Richmond. Take the I-295 by-pass around Richmond, VA. Then take I-95 north to Fredericksburg. At Fredericksburg take the Rt. 17 exit to Warrenton. Lots of good gas stations here to piss and fuel up!

Continue on Rt. 17 till you get to Rt. 66 west to Winchester. At Winchester take I-81 North.

Take I-81 North to Hagerstown. watch the speed limit on this part of I-81. You will pass thru VA, WVA, MD and PA. The speed limit goes up and down. On I-81 north take the exit for Newville. It used to be called Exit 11, now I believe it's Exit number 37. If you pass this exit you will come to a rest stop. You have gone to far!
