1907 Feldmütze variety Feldgrau with a red (infantry) or black (technical troops) band.
1917 Einheitsfeldmützen.

* Must have a correct chinstrap.

Gas Mask:

A) Gummimaske
B) Lederschutzmaske

* If you use either mask you will need a metal gas mask canister. No cloth carriers will be permitted.


Loading of the Tornisters

Tornister contents & packing order

Inside the main body of the pack:

1) 1 shirt
2) 1 pair of drawers
3) Oil can for Gewehr 98
4) 1 Hankerchief
5) 1 pair of socks or Footwraps
6) 1 pair of Ankle boots

Inside the flap, you may have:

1) Coffee
2) Wrist Warmers
3) Toque
4) Belly warmer
5) "Hold All"
5) Zigaretten (Extra smokes), lighter[s], Smoking pipe, etc

The Tornister should also have:

1) Extra ammo on strippers (if you have a pack with side pockets)
2) Zeltbahn bag (Poles, pegs, and rope)
3) Zeltbahn wrapped around an overcoat
4) Messkit
5) Food/Meat Can
6) Gewehr 98 cleaning kit

Rifle:

A) Gew98
B) Kar98

* Must have correct slings.

Bayonet:

A) 98/05 “Butcher” Bayonet
B) Universal (“Ersatz”) bayonets.

Trench Weapons:

A) Trench knifes
B) Mace & Clubs

*Note: All trench clubs need to be approved by your combat commander to be used in the field.
